Expresso Company No. 825 continues to serve Buffalo under new ownership as we welcome the New Year. John and Brigitte Maddux are pleased to announce they have passed the torch to Trenton and Ashley Berry.

Brigitte shared, “John and I are so incredibly thankful for the support of this amazing community, our daughters, without whom we couldn’t have done it all and dedicated employees who contributed in making Expresso Company No. 825 a successful business for the past 5 years. We are looking forward to this next chapter with our ever growing family and all of the adventures that entails. We will be devoting more time to a charity which is near and dear to us, as well as continuing our business Century 21, Maddux Realty, Inc. with our children. As we pass the business on to its new owners, Trenton and Ashley Berry, we do so with great anticipation of all that they will bring to the coffeehouse, which we know will only strengthen what we’ve started. Do Kindness. In Everything. Everyday.”

The Berrys are not strangers to the community. After growing up in Tunas, graduating from Skyline High School and attending college in Springfield. The two have landed back “home” near Pomme de Terre Lake. Trenton Berry is the co-founder of RacinDirt.com and Ashley runs her own social media marketing company. The two will be hands-on in the daily operation of Expresso Company No. 825 while continuing to operate their other businesses.

Ashley shared, “We think it is vital to live, work and serve in our community. We are so excited to raise our son, Champ here and be close to both of our families. We plan to keep things running as they are at Expresso Company No 825 and overtime add our personal touches to the business. John and Brigitte have built a great company and we intend to continue providing exceptional coffee, great food and excellent service to our customers.”

The Berrys will officially open on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 as the new owners. The business will not experience any closures during the transition period.
